Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in sterile processing. License: Required certifications. Certifications: CRCST or CSPDT required. Must-Have: Experience in decontamination of all items including drills, scopes, and robotic systems. Experience with assembly of instruments in various service lines. Familiarity with sterilization processes including steam and sterrad. High-level disinfection experience. Experience with sterile storage and as an OR liaison. Familiarity with tracking systems. Description: We are seeking candidates who are experienced in all areas of sterile processing. The position requires decontamination of all surgical items. Candidates will assemble instruments across various service lines. The role includes performing sterilization processes and ensuring high-level disinfection. Experience in sterile storage and acting as a liaison with operating rooms is essential. Candidates should have knowledge of tracking systems. Experience in a similar facility is preferred. Floating between locations may be required. This role involves ensuring the safe reuse of medical supplies and instruments. Candidates are expected to work Monday through Friday and occasional scheduled holidays. Responding to the urgent needs of surgical services is critical.
